5 weeks old...

Last week we went on a little mini vacation. We went to Augusta and spent time with Eric, then to Pembroke for my nephew's birthday, then to Lilburn to see my parents. We were gone for a whole week! It was lots of fun spending so much time with Eric. Being together every day was great! Seeing Addy Grace's cousins was also lots of fun, especially the Walmart photo shoot. (Photos to come, along with the story) I also loved seeing my Dad and was glad he was able to spend time with Addy Grace.

We have settled in well to life with our little princess. We are both learning more each day about being parents and falling more in love with our daughter everytime we look at her. It is such a blessing and I'm so happy that we have such a healthy wonderful daughter. She is our new best friend and we love her very much.

Almost 1 month...

I can't believe our baby girl will be 1 month this week!! It has been an exciting and crazy transition into parenthood. The first couple of weeks were wonderful and scary but now I feel like we are getting the hang of things. Our little monkey is so precious and makes us smile a million times a day. She is a great baby! Most nights she sleeps 12-5 then goes back to sleep til 9, which makes us very happy. All of our family is also getting to know her well and enjoying every minute. Eric has also taken some great pictures of her this past month. We are narrowing them down for the birth announcement, which will be in the mail soon.
